SEEED presented the Fourth Annual Music Harvest Festival at 4 pm on Market Square in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee on October 12, 2013. We had have a wide mix of music for all ages from hip hop to country, and everything in between. The event was free and you could join us anytime from 4 pm till 10 pm. The artists sold CDs during the event. Come find out more about what the young people of SEEED are doing in urban Knoxville and how SEEED is working towards building a sustainable city.
The Music Harvest this year will be hosted by Sterling Henton, better known as Sterl the Pearl. Sterling has owned Straitline Entertainment since 1995, which works with BET, MTV, and VH1 on various projects and television shows; He attended UT on a football scholarship and was a freshman All America Quarterback in 1987, with 2 Southeastern Conference champion wins and 4 bowl game wins. Sterling is the only undefeated starter in UT football history. He played professional football for the Canadian football league, then played in the Arena Football League for the Orlando Predators. He received an MBA from Columbia University in 2002. Was VP of Marketing Southeast Region for Warner Brothers,and Senior Business Analyst for International Profit Associates.
